Are your cottagecore dresses sheer or lined? Most Asked
No. Unlike many competitor dresses that are unlined, all our Elisabeth Dresses in Swiss Dot come with a detached half slip. Additionally, our white and light-colored Broderie Anglaise fabric Ashley dress comes fully lined in 100% cotton. No slip needed. We photograph in natural daylight for true opacity.
What bra can I wear with your smocked dresses?
Our smocked bodices are bra-friendly. The Forever Plaid and Elisabeth dresses work with a standard bra, strapless, or bralette. Our straps stay on the shoulder.
How does sizing run? I'm petite 5'0-5'4"
True to size with generous smocking for 32A-40DD. Model is 5'7" wearing size S. Midi = 48" from shoulder (S), Maxi = 52". For petite, midi hits mid-calf, not floor. See garment measurements on each product.
Will 100% cotton shrink? How do I wash it?
No. All cotton is pre-washed and pre-shrunk. Machine wash cold, gentle, tumble low or hang dry. Gets softer with each wash. No dry clean needed.
Does it have pockets?
Yes, deep functional pockets with finished French seams on Elisabeth, Forever Plaid, Corsica, Elegant Antibes, Sun-Kissed Dreams, and Dance Into Summer collections. Not unfinished pockets. Fits your phone.
Does it wrinkle? Will color bleed or fade?
Light natural wrinkling is part of cottagecore charm. Steam or iron inside out on low. We use natural dyes and pre-wash to prevent bleeding. Wash with like colors under 40°C, no bleach, avoid prolonged sun.
Are you nursing, bump, and breastfeeding friendly?
Yes. Our Elisabeth and other smocked styles are baby bump-friendly with relaxed hip and empire fit - allows for easy nursing access.

Is it inclusive sizing for curvy and plus size?
Yes. XS-XXL. Smocked bodices have plenty of space for booty and bust. Size up if between sizes for 36C+.

What is your return and shipping policy?
15-day returns for unworn items with tags. Full refund to original payment — not just store credit. We only ship to the 48 contiguous United States with flat rate shipping. Sale discount applied in cart.
How do I style for different seasons?
Summer: sandals + sun hat. Fall/Winter: opaque tights, lace-up boots, cashmere sweaters, wool berets. Forever Plaid is multi-season from garden party to office to wedding guest.
Any loose threads or stiff fabric?
No loose threads. No stiff hotel-sheet feel. Every piece is QC'd in Madagascar with finished French seams and secured smocking. Garment-washed for softness.
