Angèle. H Paris is above all a person… Angèle’s adventure began in Madagascar 24 years ago when she chose the island nation for a month long vacation. While breathtaking, the extreme poverty endured by much of the population is something one can not ignore.

Angèle’s long-standing compassion for causes which support women and children and her fondness for design inspired her to begin designing accessories and wearables. As the business evolved and grew, the natural next step was to open a manufacturing facility which prompted Angèle to move to Madagascar full-time. By manufacturing directly Angèle was able to better control the production process, hire mostly women employees whom are unfortunately disproportionately effected by economic disparity within the country, and train them to exceptionally high quality standards.

Our employees are trained in the art of hand and machine smocking, embroidery, and more recently cashmere. Once trained, our ladies have a job that allows them to live well, feed their children and provide them access to education. We are focused on improving the lives of our ladies and their future generations and everything starts with education.

Because 99.9% of the workers are either single women or widows, Angéle. H is also committed to comprehensive health coverage, including prescription drug coverage, for all employees and their children. Inspiring our ladies to lead healthy lives and maintain healthy bodies allows them build a better future for their families and increase their savings. Transportation to and from work is also provided.

Angèle. H is very involved in charities like Sekool, but also orphanages, and regularly helps schools in agricultural and rural communities throughout Madagascar. When you buy an Angèle.
